Coldplay Arrive to Help the Moaning Glitch, Just
The new Coldplay
album and assorted singles have given Marzipan and
the Moaning Glitch a points boost in the past few weeks, but
not enough to climb off the bottom of the charts, as
Chairman Meow also benefits, as do
Noise is for Heroes. Without Coldplay's
points, Mr C's band surely would have been thrown out by their record label
by now!
Chairman Meow and The Boy June have also enjoy the decent run The Ting Tings album has given them, and with Duffy continuing to rack up double points for Major Tom's band, they are still flying high.
The Trousers meanwhile, stay just ahead of Vagabonds, with Paul Weller's new album helping nicely. The Cubicles and 51st State meanwhile continue to hover nicely midchart, but appear to be looking over their shoulders for competition, rather than up the charts.

updated as of Tuesday
