Battle of the... Musical Decade

Postby mr cambo » Sat Sep 17, 2011 10:58 am

Welcome to the Battle of the Musical Decade

Over the coming weeks we will decide which decade brought us the best artists. The six decades from the 50’s to the noughties (plus 2010 & 2011) will be split into 2 groups of 3, with the winner of each group facing each other in the final.

Each decade will be represented by a team of 11 artists, but before the group stage begins we need to pick each team from the squad of artists.

So, starting with the noughties squad, and subsequent squads, pick your 6 favourite artists in order, and the 11 most popular will make the team.

Good luck.

10 artists are straight into the Noughties team, but we have a playoff for the 11th place.

KT Tunstell vs Hard-Fi

We know where Cossie's and my vote go, so only the rest of you need comment.

Can I abstain on this one? On the grounds that I actively dislike both, to pretty much the same degree.

Hard-Fi. Only because I'm not at all familiar with KT & I quite like Hard-Fi's latest stuff.

Err...point of order Mr Chairman. May I ask who is doing the scoring? If Hard Fi were your first choice surely they score 6 points. KT was my 6th choice (1 point) and Mr Coach's 4th choice (3 points) therefore not a tie! Does this mean we need the electoral commission to check all the results or have I missed something?

Ah #-o

It wasn't a tie between Hard-Fi and KT, it was Hard-Fi and Sons & Daughters.

My apologies

Does anyone want to vote in the new play-off between Hard-Fi and S&D?
