Battle of the... Indie Disco

Postby mr cambo » Mon May 02, 2011 11:29 am

Regardless of whether you happily take to a dancefloor or not, which 'Indie' tracks would get you dancing, or tapping your feet with pint in hand?

While I have some seeded tracks, and a few others that face a qualifying round, can you please suggest any suitable tracks before I monopolise proceedings?

Ta

p.s. don't panic, Pat hasn't helped pick the tracks I've got so far.

Cannonball - a classic, there's no-one as cool as Kim Deal.

I am the Resurrection (but, for me, facing an empty net)

Common People (wonderful, but again facing an empty net as, for me, Primal Scream only recorded one poor song - Rocks)

Any Libertines over any Smiths for me

Cannonball - I'm respecting Gossip, but loving The Breeders.

I am the Resurrection - Had to round the keeper first, but still an easy pick for me.

Common People - Jarvis and Co just nailed it with this. I do like Rocks though.

Smiths - But closer than I thought!
